Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Residential Service Electrician to join our team for the Chicagoland area. The ideal candidate will have experience in residential electrical work, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to providing excellent customer service. The salary will be based on experience, with the possibility of a bonus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance for residential clients.
- Troubleshoot electrical systems and components to ensure proper functioning and safety.
- Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, outlets, lighting fixtures, and other electrical systems.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes.
- Communicate effectively with clients to explain electrical issues and provide recommendations for repairs or upgrades.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Provide excellent customer service and build strong client relationships.
- Respond to emergency service calls as needed.
Qualifications:

Job Description:
Join iConduit Electric and build your future in the trades!We are seeking a full-time Apprentice/Helper to support our experienced electricians in delivering top-quality residential electrical services. This hands-on role offers the opportunity to learn valuable skills, work with a great team, and grow into a licensed electrician. The position is based in the Chicagoland Area, with a schedule of Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, and offers a competitive hourly rate based on experience.
Responsibilities:
- Assist electricians with installations, repairs, and maintenance of residential electrical systems.
- Handle tools, materials, and jobsite cleanup.
- Learn to read blueprints and electrical schematics.
- Provide excellent customer service and represent iConduit Electric with professionalism.
- Follow all safety protocols and company procedures.
Qualifications:
- No experience required—just a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn.
- Interest in the electrical trade and working with your hands.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work on ladders when needed.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Positive attitude and good communication skills.
- Must be able to pass a drug test and background check.
- Must provide own basic hand tools (power tools provided by the company).
